Had a track meet at Snow Canyon High School today. We ran a half mile warm up before the 1600 meter. I tried to pace myself in the race, but the last lap I fell back a little bit. Still felt really good because I beat my goal (6:55) for this race. Later ran a mile cool down then after the longest 5 hours of my life, ran the 3200 meter race. First ran about a mile warm up. I wasn't sure what to expect from this race, but I feel like it was a good start. I ended up running with a girl from I think Canyon View. I fell back on the 7th lap, I think it's mainly mentality that I need to work on during my races. Afterwards ran 2 laps around the turf. |
