| Been a while since my last update but still been running. Going on 2 1/2 weeks of this stupid cold. 3 miles easy with the team this afternoon then waited while everyone else did 200 m finishes.

| Well the season has come to an end, sorta. I did good today for being sick the last 2 weeks, but it wasn't good enough to make varsity and run at state. I felt good during the race though, so hopefully I'm done being sick. My head didn't hurt too bad.

| Ran 3 miles today. Apparently shooting a basketball for an hour can give you shin splits. Ran with all the girls the first mile and a half then ran back ahead of them on my own. Just had to think for a little bit and run off some anger. I finally didn't feel sick though and my head didn't hurt at all, so at least one upside to today.

| Three miles easy this morning. Ran two miles with everybody while varsity did their warm up then one alone since none of the other JV girls came. Shin kinda hurt but it wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday. It was a really fun morning! Cold though, not excited for winter to roll around.

| Just 3 miles easy this morning to Hidden Valley and back. My shin didn't hurt at all during the run but it did a little bit after. Glad it's getting better.

| Ran in the morning with varsity then ran around cheering them on at state. It was great to watch everyone do so good, but I'll admit it was pretty hard to not be there to race along side them.

| I am back! I don't care that I'm still sick, it's only a slight cough now. First workout in forever, it felt so good to pick back up on the speed, I love workouts so much. Don't ask why, I don't really know.. 2 mile warm up then a 15 minute tempo run on the track. I just tried to stay with the varsity girls as long as I could and did pretty good. It was so windy holy cow!! Almost 8 1/4 laps, better than my Vo2 max at the beginning of the season by a little, so I guess that's good for being sick for a month. Can't wait for footlocker and track!!

| 2 mile warm up then 2 mile repeats on the track. I was supposed to hit 7:55 and 7:50, but I went a little (or more) fast. 7:08 and 6:46, it felt great! Little bit of a cool down while waiting for everyone to finish then a mile cool down with everyone.
