Kind of sucked after not running for a week. My shin still hurts, and it swells up on runs... Don't really know what to do about it. I have a compression sleeve I'm wearing now when I run. And making sure to stretch, massage, and ice after my runs. Mostly road, first half is downhill, so uphill the way back. It's a good run, one of my favorites, but it could be the problem for my shin.
